Context:

Produce branding and identity for a third year student's final major project. The student being a fashion designer at Leeds College of Art, who requested modern and minimalistic designs which reflect her as a designer. 


Brief or Tasks:

- Consider all aspects of design which may include business cards, a look book showcasing her designs , labels for inside the garments, clothing tags and coat hanger additions. 
- Think about creating a typeface to develop a logo from, e.g. initials - LR - Laura Richardson. 
- Perhaps think of prop designs for final exhibition space. 



Preparation/Research suggestions:
- Ideas to suit her collection of clothing, designing and manufacturing. 
- Designers style of work is minimalistic, modern, contemporary and clean cut.
- Take into account when designing something which reflects her ethos as a fashion designer and her collection of clothing. 


Evidence – for this project students should submit:

- Ongoing documentation on blog
- Research (primary and secondary)
- Design sheets
- Summative and formative feedback from peers/ collaborator 
- Initial and final designs 
- Branding and identity of the designer and the collective pieces.
- A logo, business cards, look book, labels for inside the garments, clothing tags, coat hanger additions.
