I thought another way of looking for branding and retail design was to look at the selected designers/ studios up for nomination at the Retail Week Interior/Awards. The awards are given to those who produce the best for design, architecture and fit out excellence in retail.
Design studios nominated for awards are the likes of these:
One of my favourite design studios, Brinkworth. A creative agency which develops graphics and branding as well interior and architectural design.
All saints
All Saints is on of the most recognisable stores on the high street, here Brinkworth has produced a rustic style interior with themes of decadent decay and distressed glamour. I love how they have produced a a theme within the store which promises an exciting shopping experience visually, this is something I will bare in mind.
Carhartt WIP
Here Brinkworth have developed a modern and minimalist retail scheme for Carhartt WIP. The minimal and earthy colour palettee used compliments the the products range and emphasis the brand over all. This is something I am keen to explore with Albino Strawberry Boutique, gain a result which is uniformed so that the brand is complimentary to its environment.
Karen Millen
Brinkworth have continued to take Karen Millen around the world by developing their brand and generating a shopping experience for customers, the style resembles much of a high fashion boutique mixed with modern architecture through the contrasting use of cream decor tones and black reflective mirroring. I like how the clothing is displayed in complimentary colour order to suit each interior space.
