Context:

Albino Strawberry Boutique - A unique branding project and business proposition for a print boutique based in Paris. The boutique offers pastel themed prints suitable for textile and garment decoration.

Brief or Tasks:

Branding and identity for Albino Strawberry - Logo, which would be applied to a range of material such as signage, flyers, tags, packaging and bags. 
Exterior and interior design for the boutique - A proposal design of the retail element of the store. 
Visual Merchandising - Consider the idea of the print boutique being a miniature 'Liberty London' and what attracts the costumers to enter the store, and make customers buy printed materials. 
Print designs - A collection of designs (Digital, hand rendered, photographic) 


Preparation/Research suggestions:

Research existing stores such as clothing boutiques, high street and high end. 
Areas in Paris where the Boutique would be well situated, would offer a service to the people there. 
Branding and Identity, Interior and Exterior, Layout and Publication.
Colour and pattern concepts via self observation, personal taste and trend forecasting for fashion. 
Create pinterest boards, gathering inspirational imagery.
Consider people to contact for feedback on the brief, primarily students or art and design graduates. 

Evidence – for this project students should submit:

- Ongoing documentation on blog

- Research (primary and secondary)

- Design sheets

- Summative and formative feedback from peers

- Initial and final designs 

- Develop Design and inspiration boards to help produce products
- Branding and identity for the Albino Strawberry Boutique 
- Designs and final products: Logo, signage, flyers, tags, packaging and bags. 
- Albino strawberry print range
- Business proposal
