Butterfly proj || Damien Hirst

Damien Hirst is the most prominent member of the Young British Artists group. He became internationally famous for his series of of art works in which dead animals are  persevered. The butterfly paintings are some of Hirst's most widely recognised works and have expanded to include furniture and prints. 

Hirst explores the uncertainty at the core of human experience; love, life, death, loyalty and betrayal through unexpected and unconventional media.
